Evening all, a beautiful day today, complete opposite of yesterday but I believe tomorrow has to be bad again!
Not much done today. Had the engineer out to service the boiler... you wonder sometimes if they actually know what they are doing!!

Good evening all.
A beautiful sunny day here.
Spent the afternoon pi king blackberries.
Then did some weeding.
Deadheading the dahlias which are full of bees.
Sweetpeas are going past their best so I am letting g some of them go go seed.
Fed and watered everything in the greenhouse
All in all, a very enjoyable day.
All this after walking for miles in the park.
Trying to stay as active as possible

Good evening, had a fine day at the Southport flower show today and actually bought some goods, 10 lily bulbs to go along with the other 40 or so that I have in the garden 35 allium bulbs that I will have to try and find space for in among the lily bulbs, 5 different fuchsias that should look nice beside the other 15 that I have, suger snap peas as I liked the name, Delikett (it reminded me of how I am) and iceberg lettuce, and while putting this down I have been asking myself, why did I buy them then I remembered, they were cheap it was as I said an enjoyable day but must question why dogs are allowed into places like that (and before anyone thinks that I am against dogs I am not I just think it is unkind to the dog) also selling trolleys for carrying plants to people without testing them on common courtesy so many folk seem to think it's OK to stop dead with these things at full arm stretch behind them, and while on about courtesy I stopped to allow a lady on a motorised buggy to pass and she actually stopped to thank me as she said no one ever sees her, though I did tell her as she's a woman driver I would always give her room, well the one other thing I have done today is have a walk to the end of the pier and after such a busy day it was very nice and relaxing, a warm night with a very light breeze, so pleasant the one drawback, I had to walk all the way back, well enjoy your day tomorrow and smile. Morning all,grey and dry here,we are supposed to get rain later on,it is also forecast for a bank holiday heatwave,my turn for the brakefast table,if you want it,it will be there and the kettle is on the boil.

Morning, all. What a lovely day some of us had yesterday. Me included, though I didn't get anything like as much done as I wanted. So I'll just have to have another holiday today! Lunch was rather good yesterday, so we decided to have a bottle of wine too. And that was it for the afternoon. But no regrets. The wine was as good as the meal, so just perfect.

Got a great pile of washing-up to do today. Better get on with it, as it's only fair: Mr Snoop is out tidying up in readiness for the builder, who's supposed to be coming this month. I'll believe it when I see it, but at least we should be ready.

Afternoon all!
Daughter came round for a natter this morning, sorting out what cake to make for G daughter's coming 16th birthday (my! - don't time fly )
As she decided to carry on with her dance classes, we decided on ballet slippers standing on the top of a tall cake. A couple of big flowers on the side of the board, I think. Just ordered a few bits and bobs I needed for it..

Time for a quick lunch then back to painting.

Evening all, what a dreary day it’s been, still raining now in fact
Had a couple of days off and been catching up with family.
Had a nice impromptu visit to our Daughters, had lunch and did a little bit of shopping.
The GG picked out some spicy noodles whilst we were out. The string of messages from her tonight was so funny. They were obviously overly hot. Nan to the rescue, spoonful of sugar did the trick
We also watched a couple of utube videos of her when she was five. Seeing it on the big screen was so cute

Can't believe I'm first in this morning. Hope you're all well. I'll get the kettle going.

Yesterday was a bit odd. Thursday was a public holiday, so for some reason all the shops in our nearby towns decided to close yesterday afternoon as well. Didn't realise there was a local shop cartel! Will just have to go out again today. So better get on the case.

Brought more water up from the well yesterday. Bit of a palaver as a hosepipe joint decided to come apart. The water comes out the pump at faster than UK mains pressure and Mr Snoop was wearing white trousers. Only they very soon weren't. He wasn't best pleased, so I had to pretend that I didn't think it was funny. (I was all right, as I was wearing clothes suitable for the occasion - old t-shirt and shorts.)

Right, on with day. I've spotted some more beans that need picking, so doubtless there will be more that I haven't spotted.

A lazy soak in the bath with a book and a late breakfast for me so far.
Tis mostly grey out there, but warm and dry at the mo. So think some garden pottering for me this afternoon - my back needs a break from the decorating
