Ok then, 'is it sunny where you are today'? Yes it flipping well is.

Why is that an issue I hear you say?

Well because the weather has been so dreich, I started doing things indoors instead. I took down shelves and stripped the old tatty wallpaper off the spare bedroom walls. Today I need to fill loads of holes and paint. I would love to just leave it for now and go outside but someone is coming to stay for a few days so that means I need to stick to a tight timing schedule so the room is liveable again in time for Monday.

I had thought the weather was going to be rubbish until next week at the earliest which is why I started this but someone flicked a switch and gave us sun today. It's infuriating I tells ya!

I'm sure I'll get over it though.

Hello all. Well, my son has called his wedding off. I'm sorry but so relieved. He dumped his long term girlfriend after cheating on her for 8 months with this other girl. She was absolutely devastated. He says he's gone off to the coast for a few days to get his head straight.

Beautiful day, so I'm going to do some shopping then get out in the garden. I've been messing about researching conscription in WWii, instead of domestic drudgery. It kept my mind off things.

Evening all. Been an eventful day. First up was to give my son a hand to tow my grand-daughters car home. Clutch had gone. Ah well she was told cars were money pits. I got a cuppa and a bacon and egg bun for my troubles. Headed to my plot afterwards to fill another barrel of soil in order to grow some long beet. Discovered that despite me arranging to get a half load dropped at my plot gate yesterday before I left, someone else supposed to be my friend took practically the whole lot and spread it in his plot. Imbecile is what I called him. Anyways, I'll get mileage out of casting this up to him every day for a few weeks.

Evening all, a quiet day today gardening wise, we had a drop of rain, barely enough to damp the dust down, hope we get some proper April showers to fill the water butts up. Sowed some Broad beans in the greenhouse in cells and the earlier tatties are in, only the Pink Fir Apples to go in a bit later. Mu over wintered onion sets look good, never grown these before, but they look strong.

Morning, everyone. Cloudy here but traces of icy slush are evidence of a frost. Rain forecast for today. Fingers crossed, but the clouds are very high and don't look like there's much rain in them. Mr Snoop has got the range going (it's that chilly) and is in the throes of making coffee. Bliss.

Work today, again. Never mind.

And for the last chapter in the Kenwood Chef saga, made some fantastic bread with it yesterday. Much improved in texture over my efforts. So what with that and the whipped cream, Mr Snoop is glad to give it house space. I might even make some scones later!

good afternoon, just lazing about in the lake district just waiting to go for tea then after tea i think i will have a hot bath, OH took advantage of me when i got my knees done and did away with the bath and put in a shower, i will let you guess who liked a bath and who prefered a shower no gardening done today, and no concerns about it either, if anything is lost i will still have time to resow, and VC a good bit of editing there just as well i know its not true
