Glad the acupuncture is helping Thelma....

We had a similar interesting breakfast. OH found an unopened jar of unlabelled 'jam' .
I always label my jams etc but wondered if the label had somehow come off.
We sniffed it, dipped our fingers in it ( is could have been chilli jelly!) then braved some on toast. Bit like sweet red currant jelly/skinless plum/.....who knows!
Then it dawned on me....having made tons of black cherry jelly last year and passed on as many cherries from my glut to friends and neighbours, we had been given a jar of their yellow/red cherry jelly in exchange.
So...there ya go...cherry jelly, but not one of mine!
And yes, it was yummy

^Thanks, FF. It comes with some kind of spatter guard, so that may reduce the flour showers.

Reckon I'm going to be learning a new language. Have opened the box, instructions are of course multi-language but... the recipe book is in Italian! Looks as well like they have different recipes for different countries, so could be interesting.

Quite like the look of the lemon and ricotta tart with lavender... Better give myself a rule of no more than one sweet recipe every now and then. Scary how much butter and sugar you can eat with some of these recipes.

Morning(just), had a potter about in the greenhouse, then wandered round the garden with a pair of secateurs, like you do, decided I'd cut a bit of grass, then a bit more...………...and a bit more, now I'm bushed, over did it I think.

Morning all. Lovely young couple from Gumtree coming to pick something up today. Girl's parents should be proud of her being such a considerate person and keeping me well informed of pickup times and even sending little reassurance emails that they still want the item and wont be a no show. My faith in human nature is renewed.

Mutt had a good night last night so I'm hoping to get out to the shed again shortly, it's cold but dry today which is fine. There's even a little sun!

Good evening, again a dry day I could get used to this started the day off by going to a local coffee morning, then OH wanted to buy me lunch so we headed to a GC then back home and into the garden, I have managed to acquire 6 big tubs of manure so have put one on the the bed I will be growing my trombos in, this year this bed will be exclusively trombos, I also moved some rhubarb so won't be having any rhubarb this year. We'll I hope to be able to get back out to the garden tomorrow, and hope you are all able to do what you like (weather wise) Goodnight

OH not so well today, so a change of plan. We were off to a Vide Grenier but he's not up for wandering around stalls..boo hoo.
Probably mean more weeding then, and preparing a few flower tubs at the front of the house.

Chilly start this morning only 4C and grey skies again boo hoo! Some more garden pottering for me, later - back still a bit tender, so will have to be careful.

Good morning all,lovely sunshine so far,have cleared all around the greenhouse(used to be my late dads),sorted out what glass is needed,then ring halls up to see about gutter ends,cannot locate anything elsewhere,it's only 38/40mm,meantime,needs a clean up,go carefull TH with that back,you too Nicos with weeding,hope OH lifts up,sends a box off tissues,hot water bottle and mints to suck to HH,have a good day everyone,this sunshine is reat,until it it gets to hot,never happy are we ,Bgood2yrselves,
