Oh my life it is dull and miserable here. Absolutely chucking it down! Such a difference from yesterday Good old Scottish weather, can turn on a sixpence.

I really wanted to start using some of yesterday's compost bargains today. Wont be happening now. Oh no......that means I'll need to clean instead.

Good afternoon a wet day today, OH wanted to do some shopping this morning and as it was raining was a good time to do it after that just lazed about and now watching the boys, OH hasn't been very well the past couple of days and I think she has passed it onto me, as I now have a dry cough and throat, and here was me thinking she never gives me anything these days so I think it will be a hot toady and early bed for me tonight. We'll that now half the week gone so take care it will soon be the weekend

Good evening all.
It was a dry day here but very cold.
Emptied a half barrel of dahlia tubers from the front garden.
Doing a bit of redesigning and having a guy coming on Saturday to redo my steps in white granite.
Potted on more salad leaves and sowed some more spring onions.
My plum tree is a mass of white blossom and there are leaves opening on my gooseberry bush.
Hopefully the frost wont kill them.

Evening its rained here all day so the only venture into the garden was to get a bit of lettuce from my GH.
Not the day I wanted.

Mornings!

This cold/sore throat is certainly doing the rounds, I've got the one that's lower down in your throat - it's very sore this morning - thank goodness for Strepsils
Sunny this morning but still doesn't feel warm in a strong breeze - the right weather for March, I suppose LOL we just got spoilt with the warm spell we had. Compost bags need moving off the lawn (delivered Tues) before the grass starts rotting, so I'll have to wrap up warm and get on with that later!

The rain has passed but its dull and breezy at 6 degs.
Grocery shopping this morning g and then wait to see what the weather is doing,

Morning all. Tufty clouds whizzing by overhead, so not that warm out. Mr Snoop out, anyway, making kindling for the fire. Chilly enough to have one in both the kitchen and the bedroom yesterday. Looks like today could be more of the same.

Had a good afternoon yesterday. Got work out the way and a sheep farmer dropped in to say hello. Looks like he might drop me off a trailer-load of muck if I'm lucky. He's a busy man, though, so might come a bit late in the year, but better late than never.

Other than that, more of the same today: work. But the weekend is getting close. No visitors, so will actually do some gardening.

Wet and nasty out there today, dull and dreary. I hope the sun comes back soon cos I kinda just run down in this weather and perk up again in the sun. I really should have moved to a sunny clime years ago I think.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure yet what my day entails but I do know it includes cooking mince!

The icold is still hanging on with a cough that won’t let up. Nasty virus going round I think.

Morning all,hope the chesty peeps get well soon,this weather is insane,had to undo all the roof work i did and started again ,hopefully got it set right this time,the sheets were out of square,managaged a couple of hours this morning,far to windy to lift the poly sheets,and not safe up the little steps,so had to come in,will go out as and when the weather permits,MR is happy now he connected back on virgin,youtube,anything from farming to logging,it keeps him happy,and not wanting to drift of to sleep all the time,he always askes if i want to watch anything bless him,most of the time i got better things to do,when down the garden yesterday,he answered the door to the meter man,and fell,so the man got him up,i tell him NOT to open the door if am not there,signal to go round the back,same with phone,do not answer it if you cannot hear what they say ,am still on a loosing battle,but i still got him,ooooooh looks a bit brighter,now i wonder if i dare,have a good day and Bgood2yrselves

Good afternoon like most other places cold but dry, usual Thursday coffee morning this morning, and now having lunch, though was it at lidls earlier and bought some weed suprsant membrane which is now over one of the veg beds to heat up the soil now need to find some black and white poly for my onion bed, LD hope you manage to get the roof sorted OK, need to go a wee bit of work to do then get the boys 7

Its a bit breezy here - trees flailing about, so I'm staying indoors and sowing tomatoes.

Evening all. It's been another day of constant rain and tomorrow doesn't look too hopeful either. I spent a while mixing compost in the greenhouse and potting some more onions into 2 ltr pots but with bench space so limited that was all I could do. Then had a coffee and headed off to do a grocery shop. Hate that bit but we need to eat
