  • I had originally decided on some kind of salad for today, however the weather has changed my mind.

I think cottage pie, green beans and gravy.

              • We ended up with baked beans and cheese omelette last night. Ran out of time for lasagna. On for tonight instead.

                • Haddock, new potatoes and either steamed veg of some kind with parsley sauce OR salad and tartare sauce OR ratatouille. The weather is not encouraging me to consider salad seriously.

It may look wintry outside but I thunk a mini magnum type lolly might cheer me up.

                      • Tonight, chicken leg cooked in the air fryer, garlic bread, and the other half of the ratatouille that I made yesterday.

I think I might get a half banana loaf out of the freezer and have some with ice cream. It is one of the few things that seems to be even better after freezing and defrosting. Really moist and sticky.

                            • I'm peckish again. There are some leftover cooked new potatoes in the fridge. I'm thinking of cutting them into wedge/chip shapes, spraying them with oil and sprinkling them with salt. I think 10 or 15 minutes in the air fryer will give me a healthier filling for a chip butty. Just as well the filling will be healthier as my brain/hands insist that they should be "thickly" buttered. or as my late sister in law would say thickened with butter.

Must be healthy, it's all natural ingredients.
