Baked bean was discussed and discounted, I hate tomato sauce so no... give me more inspiration!

You are more than welcome to come over and join us in a wine asting party December 2012!!! I'm only down the road in sunny Pen-coed!

Most pickly things contain vinegar, which would tend to make wine taste 'off'. I still reckon a weird herb/spice mix is your best bet (BTW celery counts as a herb).
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Many many thanks to all your suggestions.

In the last week I have made the following:

                Chilli Wine
                Ginger Wine
                Bouillon wine

(Marigold Swiss Vegetable Reduced Salt Vegan Bouillon Purple Pot 150g)

Next week (once I have a spare demi john), I aim to do Lemon Curd wine.

I've had great fun doing it - I hope that in 6-12 months I have great fun drinking it!!!

I really can't imagine!! I think it might taste like herbal cough medicine. What about ice cream wine?

No need for me to be jealous! You did invite me over for a tasting!
Can you make wine from grass - lawn grass that is!
That would be really cheap and different. I imagine it like a pale green vinho verde, slightly sparkling.

Organic lawn, no daisies, probably could be done......

My dad always reckoned he could pick the flowers off the wallpaper to make wine??!! May be worth a try if only for a laugh.
