    Fave summer song

    Ok folks here it comes....our summer! 27 tomorrow !!!!

    So, what is your fave summer song! and why

    Mine is 'Every day people' by quick scramble to google, back in a bit......
    back again .....

    People Everyday- Arrested Development

    Hot hot beach, early evening, glass champagne dancing in the sand, playing in the sea with good friends- no not done it, but would love to. This song is as close as I'll get, it's fab!

    Also REM~Shiny Happy People~similar reason,just as most of the rest of their stuff comes close to "what makes you cry",this one I can't listen too without finding a little summer grin!

      Don Henley - Boy's of Summer. Takes me back to when I first knew Madmax and we used to belt round the country lanes in his MG Midget. Oh happy times (the sun used to shine and you could drive round for hours on two quid of petrol)

            Well I was a late teen when Brian Adams sat at the top of the charts for months on end. (Everything I do) I do it for you.

              Now that was our first summer as parents. Great song to get little boys to sleept to!

                I think 80's Madonna is BRILLIANT and summery - Holiday, Get Into The Groove etc. Also I remember going to North Africa as a kid and the music was a few years behind the rest of the world, and I seemed to hear The Rhythm of The Night and Alone (Heart) every few minutes, so both songs always makes me think of being abroad.

                Summer in The City? Mr Blue Sky? So many happy summery songs! Can't pick one! Love surfing so anything that makes me think of being on a beach waxing my stick, duuuuude...

                            i loved Bill Withers - Lovely Day - think i said that before and HW sent me the you tube version of it!

                            takes me back to being a teenager, going on holiday to cyprus and leaving my lovely boyfriend behind! but the fun we had to that song ...........whoops!!!! getting carried away again
