She doesn't have one yet G4, she looked at them in garden centre I said no, but then somehow she gets into a conversation with her mad art teacher who says she can have his!! So we will see if it turns up or not!?! I hate them!Comment

Aaaah, I see the problem. Art teachers are the best tho! How about a compromise; a frog or one of those lovely little coloured ceramic toadstools that tinkle in the breeze?

Not only should you keep your gnome, you should have mine! A friend bought me one the other day, no idea why!! I will get him his train fare and send him up, you can't have a lonely gnome now can you?

Reminds me of a story I read a while ago where someone nicked a gnome from a garden.
They then travelled round the world with it, sending postcards and piccies of the gnome in exotic places..........back to it's original owner!

Gnomes are fab! I also have two flamingos, a frog, an elephant, two buddhas, a cherub, three toadstools, five Easter Island heads and more solar lights than an airport runway. So tell your Mum it could be much worse
