Having shivered and grown webbed feet along with the rest of you it's now at the other extreme. Just about cool enough to go outside (6.30pm) 32.8C here today and the french beans have got sunburn But there are storms on the way.

It's really, really hot here on the South Coast but up north where some of my family live it's....raining.
Hope the storms are not too bad. We're forecasting rain for Friday when the Olympics start.

It has been really hot here in South Wales all week and it was over 27 degrees today at The Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells. Everyone was melting and looking for shade! But we all had a fabulous day out. Forecasting cooler weather on Saturday.

32C here- and hotter expected tomorrow.

Not got any mad dogs- but I've got my Englishman and he's been working inside the uninsulated roof all day with a very short lunch break- can't even touch the inside of the slates- says he'll take the thermometer in there tomorrow. Health and safety regs???hmmmm...good job he's his own boss!
