We've had a tiny flurry here in Ashford at lunchtime today. It lasted about an hour, but there wasn't enough to settle. The flakes were teeny tiny, but I was still as excited as a schoolgirl.

It nearly all melted yesterday, but is all back again now. Mr TS is 'laid off' for the rest of the month which is handy.
Me, I'll have to walk the 3 miles to school and back this week - it's not so bad, just means I can't carry anything like shopping (unless the school shuts... but that's always avoided if poss. Most of our teachers live in the muntry, so if they can't get in, we can't open)

Snow here overnight, and a few more showers this morning. Not deep though. Daughter's not happy - her eldest is off school because of the weather but she still has to take the others.

We've had a sprinkling on top of the original snow, just enough to cover the path i cleared to the bird table.

My daughter is not happy either, she had an appointment to go and register the baby today but would have to dig her way out of the front door the snow is so thick. It has been coming down in Leeds since yesterday.

Just a heavy frost here; I have snow envy Its the first time in forever that I havent been obligated to get to anywhere and I could really enjoy the snow this year.

We had a sprinkling of a few millimetres early this morning. It has settled, as it's too cold to melt it, but the Sun is out!

Same here. Mr TS has just gone out to clear the snow off his car, and ended up sweeping it all into the boot - as fast as he wiped it, it ran down and slid into the boot.
