Tiny bit of drizzle yesterday but not enough to soak in.

Cloudless, still night here in West Cornwall so a light grass frost.
Air temperature in greenhouse got down to 5°C.

I am waiting for the rain and then it will be squashes with the frost covers slammed on hard afterwards until the frost has gone and that pesky seedling rocking wind has stopped.

Light frost last night, but the long distance forecast looks fairly good for nighttime temperatures now, so I'm moving a lot of my perennials (the citruses, christmas cacti, amaryllises, and certain other succulents) out onto my patio in order to make room in my conservatory.

                              • Sunnyish at the moment but very dark cloud is banking up and as soon as one covers the sun it feels a lot colder than the 8°c that's showing on the thermometer.
