Great idea DDL - I often find I spend ages hunting for cover articles.
Also, probably a bit thick I know, but when it says jobs to do this month, I wonder if the mag means this month (when the mag comes out) or the month printed on the front
I'm easily confused you know...
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

I thought the top tips were good, tho didnt appreciate 2 being the same on facing pages! Lol! pages 18 & 19
And what happened to the rest of the GYO guide to finding an allotment? It finished mid sentence!
Overall tho highly impressed once again! Mr Dobby brought it home Saturday, then sat there asking what was for tea for 2 hours while I 'read the ink off the pages', lol! Anyone would think he was incapable of cooking!
If there was a tear out short list of things to do, sow or plant in the magazine, could this be repeated on the website as a pdf, so a copy could be printed off. This would also be handy for the special offer cut out strips. Just a thought , but I hate defacing magazines in this way; I later end up wondering what was on the reverse page.
Wasn't there a weekly womans mag that did that years ago with 'cleaning tips' and 'diy tips' and 'moeny tips' etc...? Both side of the perforated bit were realted so you didn't deface another article, and the bit you tore out made perfect sense when seperate from the magazine...
I'd totally forgotten about it until you mentioned this, and I used to think it was and excellent idea back then

I don't know which month it refers to either. But I always work it to my advantage depending on whether I'm behind with things (usually) or getting ahead of myself (rarely!)
Hi Bibliobeck & Waffler.
Although I know that in most magazines the 'what to do this month' refers to the month on the cover it does get confusing, sometimes I put the mag. on one side after I've read it so that I can go back & refer to it & then forget where it is! By the time I find it I'm usually too late to send for special offers, competitions etc. Some of the other gardening mags. have realised this is a problem & have tried to get back in step with the mag. coming out just a couple of days before the month it relates to is a lot better.
