Well done, meanwhile I'm still feeding my hedgehog who's sunning himself by the aga.

Wonderful news Muddled, sounds like an excellent place It must be so comforting to know that he's being well looked after and in the company of other doves.

...and just think, he might not be around now if you hadn't taken him back from the vets and given him another chance. You done a good thing there, I really hope karma comes to visit you in a good way.

Wonderful! Kindness all round - with even the dog chipping in!

It's a beautiful thing, and ideally how it should be, as we make our way through life's journey, illuminating the path with humble acts of love and kindness.

Well done Muddled, this has been a very uplifting story, and all down to your kindness and perseverence. The Folly rescue sounds idyllic for Little Pidge, I hope he's back to full health soon.

We now have a baby pigeon as well!! The MIL decided we would be the best place to bring a baby she had found and we have had it in our bedroom in a wooden shipping crate for the night and today. I am now going to take him/her to a local place called Linjoy Sanctuary as she will be able to look after him/her a lot better than we can. The place he/she is going was set up by a girl who used money left for her in a will when she was a kid and she is still going now! We will make a £10 donation for the cost of our pigeons care so hopefully that will cover it as its fully healthy (no signs of injury) and will hopefully just need food and water.
