There's no option for the ringneck parakeet.

I went for Blue tit. I do like Robins but I love watching the blue tits in the garden especially when they bring their young into the garden to get food from our bird feeders.

I've voted, despite being put off by the misplaced apostrophe in the first line. Just made up an email - anything with @ in it usually works.

For things like this that I will never use again, I just make up an email address. Surprising how often I'm believed!

I voted robin - why change a good thing?

edit - maybe that's why sometimes I get an email from someone I don't know - someone else also makes up addresses

                      Nor the feral pigeon!

I think the Robbin should stay, although I haven't voted.
If it was the best looking bird in the uk I would vote for the manderin duck, it's a shame there aren't many wild ones around in the north east.

"All you have to do is scroll down and vote for one of the 10 short-listed birds that best personifies all that this wonderful nation represents."

So where are the Pheasants, Parakeets and birds with origins in other lands which now call these sceptered isles their home.

I went for Robin but didn't vote as I believe in secret ballots.
