Has anyone else heard a Cuckoo yet? I thought I heard one a couple of days ago and now I have heard it again I am quite sure.

Maybe Summer will come although there is a forecast for frost for the next couple of days.

Yep, we heard our first one about 10 days ago The weather has started to warm up too but I won't be taking anything for granted until after the ice saints.

Ok, they've got to France - they must be on their way here! I haven't heard one yet - they're leaving it a bit late because:

The cuckoo comes in April,
Sings his song in May
Whistles a tune in the middle of June
and then he flies away.
