    Sorry no photo but I had a pair of nuthatches in the garden today. Very exciting. Never seen one before don’t think they are often seen this far north.

      They are moving north, been seen in Perthshire north of you, I've not seen one round Angus yet though, Little Owls and Grass snakes are also now found in the borders.

          They certainly let you know if there is something that bothers them. Squabbling feral cats set them off too.

                  About a quarter of a mile away, it's some powerful lens I got, thing is it's so heavy I don't need to go to the gym carrying that thing around lol.

                    they have become daily visitors. Lovely to see them. Also had a pair of bull finches in the garden today.

                        Saw a great spotted woodpecker in the garden trying to get on the bird feeder. Haven’t seen one in the garden before
