Catching bees

I noticed a few scout bees yesterday already checking out the hive I set up the day before in hope of an early swarm as April has been so warm this year. They have found it so quickly. I'm all excited!

I noticed in our society's beekeeping newsletter a guy offering bees for sale (just bees and frames, mind, not the hive boxes as well) for £150. Why would you, when they are free for the catching? So fingers crossed the bees like what they see and decide to come.

Probably splits as well, so possibly not the full balanced community of a swarm.
