resown jumbo pink banana squash has germinated in the elated propagator.

Obviously that is supposed to say heated propagator!!!! Bl@@dy auto correct thingy!

Well I did it! I sowed.....
Squash - Tromba, Golden Hubbard, Thelma Sanders, Black Futsu, Flat White Boer, Jarrahdale, Blue Ballet, Table Gold Acorn, Harrier b/nut, Potimarron, Burgess Buttercup, Courgettes Romanesco & One Ball, Partner Gherkins, Diva cukes.

The big propagator is now stuffed full

I managed to clear out a propagator ready for sowing squash, I had wanted to do them today but ran out of energy and time!

Sitting with the squash box and looking through again, can't wait to to see them start popping!

Same here....waited until last week's cold snap passed and then what happened? I came down with a horrible bug on Friday 28th that has completely felled me for the past five days This evening, around 6.30pm, we had a walk up to the allotment and it was my first venture out the front door since I got home from work on Friday at 6pm!

Back home tonight I have sown a few things in pots which are on my living room window.....I've told pusscats Phoebe & Loki they cannot have their sunny window back for another couple of weeks yet

All men still sitting happily in pots although cucs and fat babies desperate to move into bigger accommodation. Is it bad that I'm already planning seed saving so I can do more swops next year?

I wonder if I could buy a small chunk of the field next door to grow squashes? It's 20 acres so I'm sure they wouldn't miss about half an acre(think how much horse poo I'd need )

It's traditional in Pembrokeshire for men to sit in large pots rather than chairs. The material of the pot, ornamentation etc is indicative of status.

All babies start life by sleeping in pots, but are generally moved to their own beds when their legs outgrow them.....

got bored planted more sugar baby melon seeds. not quite sure where to plant em and stuff but got a bit of time to work that out

Of the Harlequin, Honey Bear, musquee de Provence, Burgess Buttercup and Crown Prince I sowed a week ago, only the Honey Bear and Crown Prince are yet to show.

The strongest looking cucurbit so far is the Romanesco courgette, it's got seed leaves like saucepans!

Yup, Romanesco wants to take over the world, well the garden at least!

I use it as a gap filler, on the allotment, and boy can it fill any gap

Final variety of courgette germinated. I have now got 11 plants, which is all I've got room for. Might still see a couple more germinate, and spare plants can be given away locally.
