        • Are you growing the sweet corn under cover Bario? I'm putting mine under glass as last years attempt with frames and fleece round them was only a partial success.
Planted some broad beans in pots in g/house along with a 10 inch pot with some sugar snap peas today, minimum temps are now staying at a sweaty plus 3 this week and that's inside the g/house.

Think I'm going to try them outdoors this year. I have grown them in my polytunnel the last two years but had problems with pollination. I'm hoping for a sweltering summer. I'm trying Earlybird for the first time.

                      • First sowing session this year. Every year I say I'll sow successionally, but never do - so it's this one and the bean/pea/tender crops in about a month and that's it.

So in pots tonight are brassicas (cauli, cabbage, kale, broccoli) and tomatoes and peppers, and lettuce.

received a free packet of THOMPSON & MORGAN harbinger tomato seeds two weeks ago, put them is a tray with john innes seed compost and vermiculite..at the same time in another tray I sowed SUTTONS Shirley tomato seeds , both lots are now 2 inches tall, the difference is that the harbinger seeds were free [ about 40 to 50 seeds in pack ]the SUTTOS SEEDS WERE £3.99 FOR 12 SEEDS [ ONLY 10 IN MY PACKET ] PLUS THE FREE SEEDS LOOK HEALTHIER THAN THE SUTTONS RIP OFF SEEDS..I WONT GET CAUGHT AGAIN....SUTTONS DO NOT EXIST FOR ME
