My local Wyevale is about 5 miles away, but unfortunately there is a river in the way. The resulting traffic jams are ludicrous - the road can be at a standstill on an ordinary weekday mid morning, and last time I tried it on a Sunday it took me 2 hours to get home. So I'm afraid any trip to Wyevale will have to wait until Tuesday when the bank holiday traffic has gone.

Chris I'm about the same my nearest is 28 mile away, then I realised I don't even need anymore seeds, well apart from the usual parsnips ones. So i stopped feeling left out about others making the trip.

There's a lovely country pub that you can take her to for lunch....on the way you just happen to pass the GC.

                          Happy Anniversary!

                            Thanks Scarlet

So funny you said that, I suggested a run out to Dorking where there is a bigger and better Wyevale and then hitting the Windmill nice little county pub up the road for lunch, verdict is still out as she is arranging the many bunches of compost in waiting that I bought her.
