Having read this I dashed outside to see if my Meteor peas are ready as there have been flowers for about a week. Furtled my First Apache tattie of the year. There are more but they're for another day.
These spuds were planted about November and spent the winter under a plastic cloche thingy which kept them frost free.
The leeks are on their last legs now
