Perfect size to add to a salad Marb, bigger means tougher

For my tiny space I am thinking it is too small a crop for the size.

Is it just me or is this a particularly terrible year for blackfly/ants? I've never had a problem with them on autumn or early spring sown broad beans before. I pinched out, squashed and washed off on Saturday and today they are back in strength even on the lower beans.

I'm off for a few days, I'm not going to be able to keep up. Doesn't look like my year for broad beans

Mine are like this, and are almost finished now, cos we ate them tiny, just delicious, hate them when they develop an outer 'skin'. Not a huge crop, but early and now the space is needed for other things.
