Have kept pump on 24/7 so birds have something to drink.

Wow!.......Incredible Danny, my waterfall has kept going so they have an oxygen hole, fingers crossed the fish are ok once I can get in there.

Decided to give the pond an overall. When finished it will be around 3ft+ deep, the inside of the walls are insulated with 4ft x 2ft polystyrene sheets. A lot more bracing to be put in place before I can put a new liner in............progress so far:

Will have to see if my handywork stand up to the water pressure on the walls. Hence the extra bracings.

George & the family are all fine. The liner is in, extra bracings are in place & is half filled with water. The family are back in the pond & seem quite happy. I bought a 9'x6' paddling pool as a temp home for the family. This has now been sold on. A friend is hopefully making me a stand for the TV so time will tell on that one. Still lots to do but should be worth it once finished.

Thanks Nicos, it was quite obvious the pond was not deep enough so I had 2 options, dig out another 2ft or raise it 2ft.............I took the easier option.
