Not sure when mine are going in, it all depends if we get late snow or not.

I have mine chitting , I bought another 4 bags from Aldi yesterday £1.45 for a bag, 2 each of Pentlend Javelin and Desiree, I already have Pink Firapple and Red Duke of York, Highland Burgandy , a load of really nice unnamed Bulgarian ones , and loads of supermarket ones such as Bluebell

Only ones I have planted are a couple of Highland Burgandy in pots inside the house, planted a couple of weeks ago, just showing shoots

Im probably only planting one garden about 2000 sq meters this year the centre of the garden is about 40m*40m it should be loads of space, I tend to squash things up anyway.

But if I run out of space I have lots more!, About 20 Acres, most of its fields but about 8,000 sq meter of it is gardens of old houses I have near my house.

I dont think anyone has missed much by being late (or not being too early more like), mine have been in tubs in the GH for a few weeks and done absolutely nothing. I know this because I have planted them with just the chits showing and they havent budged yet. Just too cold.

It is interesting that the advice re chitting is to keep them in lots of light but cool, yet then we plant them under the compost in the dark!!!! Some garening practises you just do and turn a blind eye to reason.
