How far behind last year are we all ?

Sarz, I stick all of my brassicas outside. I wouldn't bother personally devoting the space to them, as they take up too much in a poly. I've decided that next year, the garlic is going outside too

Polytunnels are fab for overwintering brassicas when nothing else is in there. I always put spring cabbages, calabrese and a few early caulis in after the toms have come out. They gradually grow on over winter and then you have veggies a few weeks earlier than outside - wouldn't be using that space for anything else and they're usually left over plants too so far too good to waste. I cut the last three spring cabbages last weekend when I wanted the space for the cordon toms.
