As far as I'm aware my courgettes are still producing. I've been away for a week but my dad left me some in the fridge for when I got back.

Courgettes seem to have done well this year - 3 standard bush plants all producing whoppers and only just starting to slow down (foliage has now gone grey and crispy so think that's the end). The Summerball varieties have been a fabulous find. They look great (lots of comments from fellow allotmenteers) and there must be 6-8 on each plant. They are just the right size to be baked as individual portions (filled with cheesy leeks a la River Cottage or chicken casserole). Will def be growing again next year.Comment

Mine haven't been quite as prolific as last year (but that was an exceptional year!) but have done well and the plants have been big and healthy looking. Still producing but slowing down which is acutally quite good as they don't turn to marrows in half an hour like they do at the peak of the season. I'll not composting mine for a few weeks yet until they've been properly frosted.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Still producing, although they look like they're coming to the end. I suspect another week or so of foul weather will finish them off.
They're been pretty good, particularly given how poor the weather's been.Garden Grower

After a slow start, mine are still chugging along quite nicely. Just the one plant - black beauty. More than enough for me as I don't really like courgettes, but this is a cracking recipe.

Mine were doing OK until this morning when I found their trough upside down in next door's garden. They had been sitting on the dyke between our houses (thankfully only 2 feet high) and I thought there was enough weight of compost to keep them blowing over but obviously not.
Thankfully they stayed in the trough and I was able to pick the whole thing up and sit it on the path but the foliage along with the tomato plant and runner beans that were in with them is all squashed.Comment

Yes, but getting smaller now, i grew the yellow ones this year and they were delicious, and did not get at all bitter like the green do sometimes as the season progresses. Will def grow this variety again next year.DottyRComment

Mine have been chugging along nicely all summer, after initially threatening to keel over and die after severe slug attack. I thought it was impossible to kill courgettes!!! I've had plenty for me and a few to give away but last week they suddenly went mad and I was shipping them out by the carrier bag to my extended family and neighbours. I think that this week I'll include the bread recipe that someone put a link to as everyone now has a good stock of courgette soup in their freezers.Comment

I've been picking them every other day. My yellows have done better then my greens but that might be down to the greens hiding a 3kg marrow from me
