Tumbling Toms advise

I was thinking about planting Basil alongside my tomato's as a companion plant... though detering horrible insects from eating my food before I get to it is a good idea... I think I'm going to be popping to buy some more seeds shortly.

Oh and good news today, I think I can see a germinated seed for my gartenperle pop up... 2 more to go now, if all goes to plan. Lol

basil is good to grow with toms,it helps enhance their flavour.

I have just planted up my tumbling tom tomatoes and have put 3 in a 16" basket. I have never grown the 100 and 1000 but from what I have seen in pictures and read about them you would only need one plant per basket. I don't put mine out as I always get blight in this area although I do find the tumbling toms are slightly resistant to it.
