            No problem. I was being deliberately vague when I didn't mention where I got hold of them (or when).

            On the the topic of "grow your own" - does anyone have advice on how to stop beetles in beans that I then want to grow? Almost none of the (bigger) dried beans I put in the freezer germinate (small beans seem okay).

            As it happens, our allotment officer is from Asturias - I can ask her if she ever visits home and would be prepared to stuff a bag of alubias Asturianas in her return luggage!
