Salad leaves going downhill

Looking at the growing stem, the distance between the leaves is quite considerable, indicating they bolted and yoy’ve already cropped the healthy leaves.
I too would say they have hit the end of their life span ."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

It should be fine - I sow salad leaves pretty much all year round, as long as you use winter hardy varieties for autumn sowings, but they grow so fast that there should be time to grow summer lettuce now.Originally posted by Marb67 View PostIs it too late to sow more?A life is like a garden. I'd be inclined to eat what is edible and start some more. I find in general salad leaves have a fairly quick turnaround time, particularly if grown close together in pots.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy
