As for the photo issue: can you tell me about the devices you use to post photos. Is it always the same device? And what is the file format you're trying to upload? Do you have the same problem every time you try and post a photo or only sometimes? The Vine software is quite old now and doesn't recognise some of the new formats used by Apple, for example.
Just a normal Windows desktop using standard Jpegs. It only happens sometimes. The website always takes ages to load while others are fast.

Jpegs shouldn't be a problem at all. Perhaps the photos don't load properly because they time out if it's going slow. I only rarely have problems with the Vine going slowly these days. That's really bad luck if you always struggle. Not sure there's an answer to the speed, I'm afraid.

All I can suggest or think of are things like...
What compost/mix are you growing in?
Is there any stem damage where something may be eating it?
How wet or dry is the compost, are they drying out or rotting in wet compost?
Is there damage to the roots, a lack of roots?

I just can't think of any single thing from looking at the photos Marbs, but as this happens so often to so many different kinds of plants, there must be some kind of common denominator.

I am completely baffled, sorry I can't offer any help.
I have come to accept that I am just a failure!

No you're not Marb, far from it, you have a lovely garden.
We all have our failures, I've got spider mite everywhere, caterpillars ravishing my brassicas, dwarf beans that should have been climbing beans, and not enough time in the day to deal with any of it!

The good thing about gardening, is there is always next year!

Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Well, after taking advice and putting into a bigger pot etc it has killed 2 plants and the living one is getting smaller and smaller!!! I should have left them as they were as size of the pot clearly wasn't the issue

Transplanting them at that size doubtless gave them root shock. Plants that aren't thriving struggle to recover from that. Better luck next year.
