      • In the process of pruning the chilli plants, I finally got around to harvesting the Scotch Bonnets. They weren't going to get any riper, after all,

                • Yesterday I picked the last of the tomatoes, peppers, cape gooseberries and beans for shelling, before the frost.
I also picked all of my Christmas Pippin apples (a bucket full).

                      • Now we've had a couple of frosts, it's parsnip time. They had a bit of canker last year but this year's look lovely and clean.

Also some Jerusalems, scorzonera, a radicchio and a monster savoy!

Also dug up some chicory and trimmed them up and re-planted in darkness for chicons.

                            • 7 cape gooseberries. I did not manage to grow many - there are many nearly ripe ones but the frost has got them now.
But then I left them at the allotment because I am a wally. Hopefully still there tomorrow...
