  • Planting out peas

Hello, I have peas in my small wooden green house that are about 3 inches tall at the moment and I was wondering when it's safe to plant them out into my raised bed ( trying square foot gardening this year)
Normally I just sow them directly outside into the pots they are to grow in, however this year a mouse ( I'm assuming) ate all the pea seeds and left me the shells scattered on top just to rub it in...
I Could do with the shelf space and normally they'd be outside anyway so am I ok to plant them out now?
    Thanks.

Don't know in which part of the world you live magicmarigold but ours went out last week with a few wind breaks round them. Peas are pretty hardy.

Planted mine out over a week ago. They don't mind the cold, even frosts (as long as it doesn't freeze really hard).

Mine are around an inch tall so I'm waiting till they've grown a couple of more inches then i'll be hardening them off before planting out.

Thanks all, I think I'll wait a few days for this cold and wind to calm down a bit and then they are going out. I did spy one survivor out of about twenty peas planted in that bed that's just showing through now which was pretty exciting.
