  • Went around picked stuff before the forecast frosts come.
I picked a whole load more beans for drying, all of my remaining tomatoes (a couple kilos, which I shall try to ripen indoors. Over half are already changing colour, so I think i should have reasonable success), and I picked all of the peppers which were showing any colour at all, to ripen indoors. Today's pepper total came to 4.3kg.

      • A wheelbarrow of turban squashes.
The biggest one was from a saved seed from last year. It is 14.1KG.
There were Russian giant pumpkins growing four plots away from the plant and there was a bees nest under my tool shed.
        It may be a hybrid.

                              • Some more Christmas Pippin apples.
Also emptied out the two sweet potato pots on the patio. 2.3kg between the two of them. A bit disappointing, but better than nothing, I suppose, especially considering very little effort went into them. I may not bother with potted ones next year. They do so much better in the ground.
