2 sweetcorn harvests from one bed

Morning,

Wondering if this is viable. I have 12 corn plants in my poly tunnel. An extra early type. They have just started dropping pollen and a few silks are emerging. Meaning I guess that bed isn't going to be occupied all summer. Wondering if it's possible if I sow more corn today and interplant it in the bed when it's filled the root trainer. Or I guess it's possible the first lot will be harvested by then? I have a crop outside too but a staggered 3 harvests would be ace. Possible?

I find I only have time for one crop up here, depends where you are as you need light as well as warmth to get it to ripen. I have planted at two week separation, but the later ones just caught up with the others, so it didn't really stagger the crop by much.
