    Thanks for that two sheds. The reason i left them on top of the soil was. I read in a magazine to do that, as its supposed to transport the nutrients down to the roots gradually over the winter. But I will dig it in at the wk/ end weather permitting especially as ive got farmland behind my garden fence. I deffinately do not want to attract the foxes. The sheep would hate me for it.
