hi millit,living just up the road from you so we share the same weather lol.i planted a couple of dozen last year on my plot. (mr fothergills sweet corn,,,,incredible F1 variety) i had a 100% success rate starting them off in 3 inch pots. a bit later in the year,probably early may.plant them in a square (block formation )leaving about 1ft between each plant.
