Hello All,
First cucumber harvested! love it!
couple style of salad, spinach and lettuce, oh and one deformed radish.
Strawberries also starting to turn red cant wait for these, also stuck some straw down.
Really starting to take shape now.
I might take some more photos of the GH at the weekend.
Big jim in there now is over 20cm!
Also may post some before and after pictures to see what has been achieved since getting the house a year ago.
Thanks All.

They sound good containers, remember to fertilise with a tomato feed to swell the fruits massively. My melon plants are just past the seed leaf stage, really behind but summers long
Yes I’d water daily, careful the melon stem doesn’t get wet.Last edited by Jungle Jane; 31-05-2020, 10:09 PM.

What size pots do you out your peppers in.
ive put all the peppers, melons and everything in 10l cheap flower pots.
will they all be okay in these. Will daily watering be needed.
No sign of any action with any of melons yet, theses seem to be hardest so far imo.
Nicos thank you thats very kind. It's certainly getting there.Last edited by ghexton; 31-05-2020, 09:23 PM.

You say you don't know what you are doing???
You are doing a superb job
Those plants look amazingly healthy!
As far as the broken tumbling tomato is concerned, just carry on watering and feeding it, it'll bush up nicely.

Tomato alicante
Cucmber ashely x2
tomato money maker seem to be growin well, will look to only do cumber together next time they tie themselves to tomato is this an issue?
Also they try and escape put the window.
Do i need to top plants they all seem to keep growing up and out of roof space? Oh and couple of other tomato in front
Oh and also chilis in middle and back middle, only one big jim fruiting atm.
I also have more pallet collars full of strawberry, raspberries, onions, climbing beans and runner beans, onions and other bits which i need to take photos of for another times. Look forward to you advice, if you think im doing something wrong, or missing on pruning ect let me know, because i dont have a clue just going with what i feel is right atm, which is mainly just water and water.
thanks all.
Oh yeah and my other hanging basket i have the strawberry summer breeze? i thinl? roots from t and M the ones that was on offer.
this is by far the best one, i have couple of roots that have just done nothing, no leaves nothing. Are they dead? is worth pulling them up and getting other bits in baskets?

View from the greenhouse door: quite bit of change from a month ago.
Back left 4 of Gh
2x black cherry tom
2x gd tom
Very bush plants, not sure whether to thin the leaves out at the bottom, also stopped taking the little branch things out, and they now sprouting everywhere even from the base, one plant is starting to fruit, was expecting a few more tbh.
I really need to cut these toms back, they seem to growing more leaves then anything else.
No fruit, shall i pull the bottom shoots up from the soil and only leave one main stem? and cut all the spare laves out, can any on poiunt me to YT tutorial that is good?
Front left- Crystal lemon cucumber
di luca tom
Sweet pepper California- will this need canes?
cucamelon- ive wrapped this around a cane it looks very fragile is this right?
and 4 more peppers, not sure what to do with these, would they be okay outside?
i cannot remember what the little random plant is on the end, but growin it any way. ha
back right of GH
2 melon top right of pic below- these look really bad, ive tried to train them with no luck, think i wll swap them for other melons in buckets on the floor that look more healthy, is this a good idea?

Right im going to try and post this again in smaller posts of 5 pics at a time:
Hello All,
I’m going to post this all in one place questions, greenhouse door views the lot. Lost patience with forum load times ect, the update wasn’t great IMO. Feel a few users my have migrated, i hope not. So ill get into it, ive taken a lot of pictures i will ask my questions as i go. this may be very mixed up order sorry.
Hanging basket - tumbling tom i think, with snapped of step in kitchen in water. it worth keeping the basket both alive?
Basket 2 with 2 tumbling tom in, seems to be doing okay, will these fruit soon?
Main flower bed with some 145cm sunnys, any plant idenfiration here would be great i dont have a clue, there is really pretty shrub with pink flowers atm they only last a day though.
Outside planter 1 salad, love this would defiantly grow again so easy, use it everyday. Great stuff.
Outside planter 2- Kale kinds of wish id put a tomato, or maybe more salad bits in this. Kale is so large and cant really use it atm.
Hopeful will be able to soon.

I can see the photo of the tomato plant gardeners delight or black cherry, yes I’d remove the lower leaves to help airflow/stops leaves getting wet when watered. Another thing you asked about peppers,I always grow sweet peppers outside in pots with my tomatoes,I don’t have a greenhouse, they need a sunny spot. Try posting a little at a time?
Edit yes melons can be tied to bamboo canes etc, they need a net hammock with the weight once the melons are growing bigger.Last edited by Jungle Jane; 27-05-2020, 09:26 PM.
