Giant cauliflower leaves

It�s my first time growing cauliflowers and the leaves are huge over 2� high ... I�m starting to see a couple of tint cauli heads.
I was wondering if these as how they grow or have they gone wrong ?

If you can see the cauliflower heads without forcing the inner leaves apart it is unlikely that they will get much bigger before they go to seed. Could the problem be lack of water?
Nothing wrong with large leaves, I have grown monstrous cauliflowers in the past with massive leaves.

The leaves sound healthy enough. Cauli leaves are pretty big. Can't comment on the heads. Mine always start off small and then grow. Carry on as you are, I'd say.

If you want the 'flower' to remain white, it is common to fold and tie those leaves over the flower while it developes.
Unwrap and check it once a week for bugs/caterpillers etc.

I’ve looked again I can’t see any head on the huge ones only the much smaller ones ...
I’ll leave them a while longer see if the develop heads
