Okay, there were about two inches long, but I always take the first ones off small, otherwise I've found courgettes sometimes seem to get 'stuck'.

Anyone else here growing kabucha squash?

Anyone else here growing kabucha (カボチャ, 南瓜) squash?
It is a small winter squash, originally from Japan but getting popular in US and Australia.
I have a couple going: the vines are about 2m long with female flowers every 30cm or so. Growing on a bank of last years garden compost.
