Removed lids from props in greenhouse. Too damn cold, so put them back again! Wrapped up the broadies in the poly. Brrrrrr

Yesterdays what I did today was dig out most of the soil in the greehouse because it was sticky clay and full of long stringy white roots.

Today I'm getting new compost for it and planting out some beans that the bloke at the garden centre gave to my 1 year old for free.

Greenhouse repairs have occurred And as an added bonus, the door is now fully glazed too rather than having a sheet of polythene taped over it 4 std panes, one corner triangle, and one 2'x1' strip of glass = 20. Pretty chuffed with that

Took everything out from under the grow-light, and potted up tomatoes, chillies, peppers, onions. Some of the chillies and onions have had to move out to my bedroom windowsill to make room for the 'maincrop' sowing of tomatoes. Really need to get my small greenhouse repaired (4 panes of glass out in the wind last week ) and the heater set up so the bigger plants can move outside...

Planted three pots of chard into the polytunnel bed. Scrubbed greenhouse floor - chooks had been in and sh*t everywhere
    Watered minimally.

You know I don't have a poly VVG but here is Bunty in her poly, talking about her hoe and its this time of year too - 15th February.
For Marchogaeth, Bunty lives near Laugharne. There's a public footpath past her veg garden and she opens her garden for NGS. Worth a visit

I need a couple of panes of glass for my little greenhouse, one for the door which is an odd size so I'll have to get it specially cut

Paul Peacock is the chap who 'stars' in most of First Tunnels' instruction videos, along with the lovely Gail, but he doesn't work for them he's a writer and publisher

Anyone else want to show me theirs
I will if you'll show me yours

I use an onion hoe - diamond shaped one side and a prong on the other.
