  • I'm a Dad !!!!!!!!!

    I am sooooooo excited!!!!
    This will mean nothing to all you experienced, hardened, gardeners but....
    I planted some tomato seeds and they have sprouted!!!!!!!!!!!
    ummmmmm....
    What do I do now ???????????????????


    I think this might be my greenhouse ( very amateur) and other trivia blog page!!! Do feel free to drop in !

          So you've been a "Dad" before? Once they're out of nappies, they'll need some potty training as they grow up. ( BTW all of this is just hearsay, as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather have tomatoes than children).

            I am a dad to 2 grown up "boys"
            Although they have both grown into fine young men ...I trust my new breed will be less of a worry, and certainly less expensive to keep !!!!!!!

              Not likely.

              You'll worry whether they are getting enough sun, are they drinking enough or too much, is too cold or hot for them and are they leaning too far to the left or right.
              Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch and get dirt under your finger nails.

                        Notice from your pic all the kiddywinks are leaning toward the light coming through the window. If you can put something reflective behind them to maximise the available light. When you do pot on put them deep at least upto the seed leaves.

                          well well,congratulations just think of the benefits you will get
                          maybe the best thing to to is transfer them to individuals cot/pots,with compost blanket tuck up to just below the head/leafs,and keep them warm in the nursury till the weather is better,then you can take em for a walk into their new homes,,you did ask now what
