Ha, that last line is very relatable. I say the same thing every year and it never sticks. Tomatoes in mid April sounds about right though if you're still getting frosts, no point rushing them just to watch them sulk on a cold windowsill for weeks.

Late frosts into May sometimes and early frosts later in the year (September) is my problem .

That last line made me laugh, the growing less resolution never survives past the first seed catalogue does it. I'm the same, started the year saying four tomato varieties max and I'm already at seven.

Same here with my tomatoes....must sow less but end up sowing a few more, just in case they don't all germinate.
I think I have about eight varieties this year.

And your hands begin to harden.

I decided to sow my tomato seeds later this year due to late frosts here, last night it was only 3 degrees inside the greenhouse which kind of vindicates my plan, however my seeds are taking forever to germinate and grow, not looking too good just now. I may end up buying plants at this rate, first time this has happened in over 60 years of growing them.
