  • HELP! - ventilation and humidity

I made a start by cutting out the top panel of plastic in the door and replacingmit with a fine mesh. I would like to close it up for winter - any ideas?

The door has been cleaned and painted and is now ready to be covered with a polytunnel offcut. Trying to think of some way of securing another layer of
polythene over the mesh on the outside but it might be easier to do it on the inside??

Maybe use staples and some polytunnel plastic, you can then remove it when it warms up again after the winter. You could put the mesh on the inside and the plastic on the outside.

What about a hinged wooden frame insert into the "middle top" area. Covered in plastic, fold it down in the summer and up when its cold.

small fan, like one from an old PC ? they are 12v and so can be run from a car battery .... with maybe a temp sensor in the circuit.
