Oh, good question! Ive only increased my mint plants from cuttings! They will split really well. Do they cross? I'm not sure they grow well from seed?

I am not sure about cross pollination. I heard it if the flowers comes it might . This is the first time I'm trying with seeds.

How big are your plants? They divide very well.

I don't know about mint cross-pollinating but its very easy to propagate from a cutting. Cut off a healthy young shoot about 3-4" and put it in about 2" of water indoors. Then forget it for a few weeks. It'll root very quickly!
