This circle is for the Rare, Unusual, Heirlooms and Exotics in the way of Fruit and Veg
The stuff you don't normally stumble across in the catalogues

The rules are the same as the other circles
I'll need your seeds by December 1st 2012 for distributing the following January 2013

    2. Jeanied
    3. Northepaul
    4. BarleySugar

Not sure what I can offer yet but I am hoping to have something interesting in the chilli / tomato line. I have just sown the seeds so who knows??? Maybe it will be squashes / pumpkins in the end!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        Please count me in!!
I have around 15 cape goosberry bushes on the go at the moment.
And if that doesn't work I have a load of other stuff on the go

May I join? I'm trying to grow groundcherry/physalis this year. It might be a total disaster, but so far the plants are growing nicely...

Super trowel and gan heather you're both in (but cape gooseberry and physalis are the same thing...)

I didn't see Super Trowel's post before I posted. But I have other things as well. Will just wait and see what turns out nicely.

Can I join please? I'm trying Garden Huckleberry this year, so hopefully I'll be able to offer these seeds, if not, I'm sure I'll find something

I'd like to join too, but also not sure what I can offer yet. I've got some interesting peas, but they should probably go to the peas/beans circle. I did save some seeds from some French beefsteak (red and orange) tomatoes last year from when we went on holiday, but I don't know what varieties they are .
I've got plants going, but are probably not exotic enough.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
                    Now a little Shrinking Violet.

                      Me please.

I am hoping to have either some cinnamon vine tubers, some yacon, and have some other strange stuff as seedlings which I don't want to get people's hopes up so I will post as and when I know they are looking slightly successful.

Hi, Please could I join? I am not really growing exotics, but unusual or old varieties of herbs - woad, vietnamese coriander (fingers x) and sweet cecily or similar (unsure yet still deciding!! ).....not sure if this what you are looking for?? If not, no worries

hello - love the idea of this but i have a question - does it have to be only self-saved or can it be interesting bought seed too? BR
