Trying to find a tall red Marigold for flower bunches.
Bought some last year but they all turned out stripy like “tall scotch Marigold”

Thanks for that - was hoping for something a bit taller, bushier and a bit less “weedy”.
Chiltern seeds have had it but it’s out of stock .
Hopefully they’ll have it again soon before I decide that
      a) I didn’t want it anyway
      And b) I haven’t got room for it !!!!

        You've lost me.
Are you looking for "Tall Scotch marigold" or is that the one that turned out stripy.

You can get cinnabar seeds from here if you can't wait for chilterns https://www.specialplants.net/shop/s...rom_gt_dixter/

Sorry for the confusion ...... I bought what was supposed to be a tall red Marigold “Cinnabar”, but they turned out to be the striped tall Scotch Marigold. They are very nice , but not what I wanted.
I think the SR ones that you have tracked down are shorter and sprawlier than the ones I’m looking for, but might give them a go.
            Thanks for your help VC.
