Camphor basil?

He he he! Another teaser for momol.......so can we grow camphor basil over here? What is it, its another spice mentioned in Julie Sahni's classic recipe book.

You should be able to grow any basil really as they are from tropic to sub tropic and even mediteranean. Bare in mind they can't take frost. I have't grow any camphor basil as it is mainly for indian culinary ( or and medicinal). it said to be huge. I presume you have to treat it like growing thai basil, lots of heat...so it will be rewarding with green house .
P.S I was looking the mentioned basil at the Curry leaves part...I need stronger glasses .
