Wild rocket died

Why oh why oh why does anything I buy seem to die when looking after it reading the recommended instructions on the label ? This has come back the last 3 years but suddenly, keeping the soil moist as instructed, it has completley died. I even tried planting it in the soil when I first got it but it didn't like that. Another failure for my book

You did well to keep it going for 3 years. Although some say its perennial, others say its a biennial.
Did it flower and set seed?

Don't throw away the pot as you may find rocket seedlings coming up in spring. I grow ordinary rocket in the GH and it bolts very quickly. I leave it to self seed - there are usually a few rocket plants to be picked.
