Something for a sunny bed?

I've got an almost empty border on my garden that is south facing. It's got one foxglove and a peony in it so far this year. I've sown a few seeds of Ox eye, ragged robin and harebell. I've also got aquilegia and delphiniums in the propagater to kick start them before planting out.
However ever the impatient one and also because I'm worried the seeds won't take! What can I pop in the bed now? I'm concerned I have a big patch of bare earth tempting the weeds!
