    For those interested, this is what the shoots turned into earlier this summer!



    It seems we have lots of peonies in our garden - this was just the first to shoot/bloom. We also have simpler and more complex forms, in a variety of pinks (including a very lovely candy floss pink peony with ENORMOUS fluffy blooms).

    They were all beautiful while they lasted!

      That is good,nurture them,i know they do not bloom for long,but boy,they are excellent while they last,
